Who Are We?
We are simply a group of Christians (Acts 11:26) seeking to serve God according to His Word (2 Timothy 3:16-17). We are not affiliated with any denomination, but call ourselves the “church of Christ” because that is what the Bible calls the congregations of the first century (Romans 16:16). Our worship is in the beauty and simplicity of the New Testament teaching of worship being “in spirit and in truth” (John 4:23-24). This is why you will not find any modern additions, such as instrumental music and praise teams, in our worship. We teach that baptism is necessary for salvation because that is what Jesus instructed before ascending back to Heaven (Mark 16:16), and because the Bible identifies baptism as the final act of submission placing one into the church (Acts 2:38, 41, 47).

Our Services:
Please join us for our Sunday Bible study at 9:30 am and our Sunday worship at 10:30am and at 5pm. Knowing the importance of edification, we also gather for a midweek Bible study at 7pm on Wednesday evenings.
Our Location:
We are located not far from Interstate 64 in the City of Hampton at 502 Woodland Road, Hampton, VA 23669. We are just a few minutes from Langley Air Force Base, Hampton University, and Coliseum Central.
